Well, This Have Always Been an On-Going Challenge for the \"NEXT-In-Line\" Class.

My Gal Will Tell Me Glee-Fully that Her Classmate(s) Got the Highest Score, Better Than Charity (Pardon Me, Still Cannot Get Use to New Naming ....) Next Door Whenever It Happens ....

In Fact this is a Constant Challenge from their EL Teacher, As Well ....
But SHhhhhhh .... Must Keep Within this Four Walls (Errrrr .... Forum for us Parents ....)
      πŸ˜‰ πŸ˜‰

Happy Mama's dd did competitive tt (3 times a week) in P2. I feel that if her dd didn't get distracted by this cca, she'll be a shoo-in for Charity 3 since we know that by and large, the difference between the top strata of students is minimal. I believe only the top, top few students in the old Charity 3 will be able to put daylight between themselves and the rest.

Actually Now That I Think About It ....
Many Kids Got Join Tie-Class Position,
Can Be 4 or 5 Getting the Same Total Score in the Same Class, and Tie for Same Class Poistion ....
and the Next Ones Got Total Marks Bare-ly One Or TWO away ....

So You R Right, FIERCE Competition!
      :celebrate: :celebrate:

But U Won't See these Kids Who Out-Do the Next Door Neighbour in the Following Year ....

          Promoted to Heaven Class -liao!

But On the Other Hand, Also Got Some Drop-In Tenants from Heaven ....
And the Cycle Goes On ....
          πŸ˜‰ πŸ˜‰
Hahaha, I like the way you describe...\"heaven class\".

I wonder how many R9 kids will be promoted to \"heaven class\" this year... My guess is around 20 kids. πŸ˜‰

Aybody knows based on PH's past history, how many kids got promoted to \"heaven class\"?

Aiya, don't say like that la... and the tt was only for a short stint.... My DD is not the super duper intelligent kid. She's just slightly above average... though it puzzles me how she got that IQ score (which was considered reasonably high) when she was 6 years old... but her results don't seem to tally with her IQ score leh... and sometimes I feel like hitting my head against the wall when I see the blank look on her face as she forgets certain concepts I had already taught her. :stupid: :stupid:

Either the IQ test wasn't accurate back then, or, she's an extremely late \"bloomer\"... but how late will that be? After PSLE or after O-levels? 😒

Yes, you are right. There were many TIES last year too. Can you imagine, for 1 particular position, there were around 15 or16 of them.. and I think every class aggregate cut off was around 6 points difference (IRRC)? Really FIERCE competition.
