MOE scholars making news for all the wrong reason. Unfortunately spotlight is back on them again. Gosh, so unfair to the other scholars who are working hard etc.

Something must be seriously wrong about MOE's scholar selection criteria. No?
And also the sympathetic Hwa Chong teacher who write a good testimony for Jonathan ought to be shot. She think she is doing the guy a favour by giving him a chance. What a mis-placed act of kindness! Such teachers should be bared from writing testimonies in the future since their words cannot be trusted anymore.
Perhaps guys who applied to be teachers are so few and rare that MOE gladly dish out the scholarship. Perhaps they should only give scholarships to women trainees.

I think the generation of youth that grew up with both parents working and left on their own with the maid at home are very vulnerable. They probably spent most of their time in sch. Bonding time with parents were so precious that some parents did not think the time shld be used for discipling the child. Very sad.fatshrek:
