So many pages, no wonder you need to jump from one page to another fast!

Ok seriously now, for the parent-teacher session later this week, what can we expect? Usually in kindy, everytime P-T session teachers will complain that ds doesn't know how to take care of his possessions. Haiz, this is one aspect I could've done better as a parent. -
Mrsbongz:
it's where u key in the url
Thank you thank u  I thought dyh is referring to something on the KiasuParents page ..
Thanks all! -

Ok seriously now, for the parent-teacher session later this week, what can we expect?
1st rule: Keep to the time limit
2nd rule: Do not use the session to scold your child (wasting time here)
3rd rule: Ask for the teacher's perceived strengths and weaknesses in the child
4th rule: Ask for constructive suggestions on how to capitalise the strengths, bring out the potential and weed the weaknesses
5th rule: Ask how you as a parent can help to carry out the suggestions named in 4th rule.
6th rule: Shake the teacher's hand and wish her a good day  -

Yup...this is so true...many parents are waiting for their turns and some have to meet the younger/older kids' teachers as well. 2nd rule: Do not use the session to scold your child (wasting time here)
Keep the scolding until you reach home
3rd rule: Ask for the teacher's perceived strengths and weaknesses in the child
4th rule: Ask for constructive suggestions on how to capitalise the strengths, bring out the potential and weed the weaknesses
5th rule: Ask how you as a parent can help to carry out the suggestions named in 4th rule.
VERY VERY important.
6th rule: Shake the teacher's hand and wish her a good day  -
Jennifer:
that is provided the one in front of you stick to the 1st rule and there is no long queue behind you.....if not, ...........guess what will happen.....markfch:
