JRLam:

On the contrary, I think it is better to go holding school. Can u imagine studying with all the construction noises going on nearby when they are adding new sch building, classrooms etc? All the pollution, inconvenience etc.
Personally I feel that safety is a concern too if major reno works are carried out while sch is in full swing.
JRLam:
Think we will see a lot of PH KS parents lurking around that site in the next few days .. hahaha.. that will be really KS .. it is another 4 yrs away leh! Btw, Mark, your ds should only be P5 then ... sign .. my dd won't be able to enjoy the new facilities ..
For the temp location, ds can actually wake up and 7am and be at sch by 7:20am if he quick-hand-quick-leg.

Wow your ds trained by Doc Peh, your niece also going to be trained by him?
To me, she's a perfect example of born gifted.
Trapwithin:
Your standard very high. For me, above 90 very good liao.
Actually at P1-2, the kids in Band 1, their result is mainly differentiate through whether how many careless mistakes they made, so a lot to do with exam techniques.
The first time I meet php late last year, I already saw the words 'high standard' big-big written on his forehead.
Judging from the content of these few pages, can I presume the Sci and CL marks are not disclosed today?

Disclosed for my P3 dd too. All 4 subjects satisfactory (assuming CL tough base on lizhi/E3 feedback).

Hi JoeeYee, your DD has gotten all 4 subjects? Wow, that's good. Some of us only received 3 subjects. Just curious, which class is your DD in that she received results for all 4 subjects?
She's in Responsibility7.

Ermmm...have not seen the paper so can't be sure whether it's really that tough. I guess it's more demanding compared to last year's papers cos it has included ้€ ๅฅ, and the time given was only 1 h 15 mins for a 100 mark paper. I heard that some kids from the cohort couldn't complete the papers.

That's what I was referring to cos my dd did not feedback anything. She told her dad the paper was \"ok\" but science paper she told us it was difficult... so.....

Do you know if our kids are supposed to bring whiteboard n marker to school. My son said he missed tingxie today cos he didn't bring. Haiz..didn't even tell us he needs

Thanks.
My son had to bring whiteboard marker to school too.

His Maths CA1 is 33% (hubby is super stunned)...the other 3 subjects in Band 3. Lots of bucking up to do during the Mar holidays.

Janet, <<hugs>> to you. I think at this time, you should be anxious to pull up his marks.

When you see the papers today, try to be objective to spot the weaknesses and ๅฏน็—‡ไธ‹่ฏ ok. There could be various reasons that he did not do well. If you see that some questions that he should know yet he could not score, then he might have cool feet during exams. I believe the best learning environment is to have a balance of leisure and pressure, for both the child as well as the caregiver. Of course, you know him better, I wish you all the best! :hugs:

It's good that your DD's class has gotten back all the papers, so no more suspense. I am still waiting for DD to get back her Science marks today.
