Hi there,

Can someone please tell me if I qualify under church Phase 2B?

I have been a member of a Church for 30 years.
My son was baptized at 6 months and is also a member of a Church.
My husband is not a Christian and not a member of a Church.

Do I still qualify to enter my son in Phase 2B?
Or does the entire family (ie: both parents) have to be registered under a Church?

which school are you aiming for? which denomination (Catholic, Methodist etc)

It depends on the school. Some require just the baptism cert (of either parent or child); others require evidence of participation in the church. I believe most schools will not require both parents to be members of the church but think it's best for you to call the school(s) you are aiming for and check with them. Good luck!

For Pei Hwa, they will normally do a pre-registration for phase 2B through the various presbyterian churches sometime in November in the year preceding the P1 registration. The announcment will be made through the church. You will need to fill up a form for the pastor to endorse and your church will send the form directly to Pei Hwa. The form requires you to state your contributions made to your church. During the P1 registration in July, you will need to turn up at Pei Hwa for Phase 2B and they will already have a copy of the form and you will just need to bring the usual documents. Do check with the school when this pre-registration will be done so that you don't miss out the announcement in church.

Yes, it is better to check with the church or school. Some require you to serve or at least actively attending a cell group/fellowship.

Think is hainan clan but they don't take in clan applications. If your ds is going to P1 next year, you can only try phase 2C onwards now.
