      Hi Brenda,

I would think the paper one that determine the A star grade, with other factor remains unchanged.

      Cheers

      Hi Brenda10,

From what I observed, its not difficult to get A for english, but tougher to get A STAR.

      Hi Leanne

I also think so. If want to score A* have to do extremly well in Paper 2.

          Hi Brenda,

No prob about the typo error.

Usually paper two is not too hard, its the compo and oral that makes the difference.

How about for other subjects? I didn't realize that until a friend of mine said she hardly knew of kids who scored A* in English.

              Hi jtoh,

I think for English Language is really a flair in a child. As it is , language doesnt built overnight.

But, strangely, I know many kids that doesnt speak Mandarin, all A star for chinese.

I do hear kids scored B for science and math, if really weak, if not usually its an A.Again, A is just an alphabet, most impt is a high A or low A.

              Regards
              Leanne

                Hi Leanne

Last year, I still remember dd CL was pull down by the compo. but lucky she scored high in Paper 2

As such, we make it one compo. each for EL and CL per week and really can see the improvement.

                Cheers

                    Hi Leanne

Thank you for your good wishes.

You’re right in fact many things cannot depend on school too. Like the swimming gold star test, if we just purely depend on the training by coach I don't think can pass the test lah.

                      Hi All,

Are your kids loaded with hw this march holidays.Yes , for us.

The most amusing thing, is ds sci teacher gave them two set of prelim paper to be completed, tho the topic is not completed yet.

I just cannot understand, SA1 not finished , why skipped to prelim paper for sci?

                      Anyone experience similar experience?
