      Hey Parents,

Not having CA/SA1/SA2 at P1 and P2 is not a good thing for the child.
Fine, maybe no CA1 for P1/2 is ok. Although I revise consistently with my gal, I rather have SA than formative assessments bcos that would mean I have to be on the ball all the time... :frustrated:

It's a nightmare at P3 to have SA1, SA2 as well as SCIENCE thrown in !!!Not every child has interest nor able to pick up Science process skills/concepts, esp girls (maybe some girls can).

I'm late reporting in..... sorri, sorri....

I had a super early slot for my dd, 7am. πŸ˜„ And the FT impressed me with his handling of my dd. Very good feedback on her EL weakness too. Saw the MA next and was surprised by her feedback that some of my dd's classmates are scare of her... need to tame her aggressiveness to assertiveness.... interesting.... on the other hand, SC T thinks she's v good as she can multi-task and execute complex multi-steps instructions well... :? CL ok.... then it's p1 ds turn.... handwriting too big and HYPY/CL work very slow.... talk to boy in front too much... so we requested Ts to split the boys and surround my ds with girls! Ha ha..... πŸ˜„

All done by 9.30am. :D. And we had time for her to nap before her next big test, the SNAG....

I prefers to keep all CAs/SAs as they are now.... will be too much of a shock at P3.

Both language teachers were very encouraging and suggested great ways for my girl. I am glad to know that my girl has scored above her class average for at least 2 subjects (MS) and most probably CL too, more so because she was on her own to prepare and revise her CA1.

That's great to hear. I wonder if I ever dare to do the same for ds? Must wait for him to mature further and take cue from there. Btw, do you think your dd's independence is due partly to her living overseas at a young age? I noticed that international schools tend to focus more on character building rather than pure academic work.

She was only in preschool when we were residing overseas. I think it is our way of bringing her up. Letting go and expecting her to handle her stuff bit by bit. She knows my expectations that once she is more comfortable in some areas, I will let go slowly, at a rate she is agreeable on, there, she gain her confidence to handle them, bit by bit too. πŸ˜‰ There are, in fact, some complains from one of her teachers, but well, to me, those are very trivial matters. Some teachers expect parents to monitor closely and expect parents to ensure everything to be in order. I know my daughter is learning, has a great attitude and she is doing great, by my standard. That is all I want. πŸ˜‰ So, well, poor teacher's complain is being ignored by me. πŸ˜› πŸ˜‰ I am sure I do not want to fall back to the same pit hole of minute management of her school works.

I only met EL and CL T and got to know that the Avg. for EL is 76 and CL is 90 or 90.5 for my son's class. How about M1 and Sci. avg.? anyone can share?
I also found that my ds's CL T is very helpful πŸ˜„

Sci average is 81. Don't know about MA tho.

            Teamwork 9
            EL - Avg : 78.6 Highest : 94
            CL - Avg : ?(my guess is between 93 to 95) Highest : 100
            Sci - Avg : 86 Highest : 92.5
            Maths (M1) - Avg : 88 Highest : 97

Haha...very funny. Dd doesn't wear tie, she wears a badge with a letter P, just like Happy Mama's dd so it can't be her too. I was still eating my breakfast leisurely at that time, 10 o' clock, still putting on make-up..., and reading Funx3 and Jennifer's posts on their extra-early mission...πŸ˜‰

              Oh...and I didn't take the lift...preferred to walk up...πŸ˜‰

Oh soli wrong number then. Luckily I didn't try to be clever and strike a conversation. Otherwise so malu ..

Oh, so Bro Mark dunno how E3 and her dd1 look like? Then I'm better than you Mark... πŸ˜„

Yeah, missed a chance to meet E3, brother Mark, IJJ and the rest of the gang…but if we meet up and chat, the P and teachers will know.

My son’s class is on 6th floor…time slot given was 930am but we reached at 9. Waited quite a while to meet his CL teacher.

You cannot say liddat, must say properly. *Cough cough* It's E3 who dunno what markfch looks like. So that makes you better than E3. :rotflmao:

Personally I only know how php & notabox look like. Oh yes, and mrsbongz's ds also. The rest of you people, I would not know you even if you're my neighbours.

If this is the logic, I am no better than E3 cos I also don't know how you look. Can you email your photo to me so that I can be one up against her? Wuahaha... :rotflmao: But at least I have also seen Notabox before, and one mummy whose dd has left PH, plus maybe a few others that know-face-dunno-nick. I suspect php knows me. Wuahaha again :rotflmao: BTW I love to see your post lah, really spice up this PH thread.
