Oh, so Bro Mark dunno how E3 and her dd1 look like? Then I'm better than you Mark... 😄

You cannot say liddat, must say properly. *Cough cough* It's E3 who dunno what markfch looks like. So that makes you better than E3. :rotflmao:

Personally I only know how php & notabox look like. Oh yes, and mrsbongz's ds also. The rest of you people, I would not know you even if you're my neighbours.

If this is the logic, I am no better than E3 cos I also don't know how you look. Can you email your photo to me so that I can be one up against her? Wuahaha... :rotflmao: But at least I have also seen Notabox before, and one mummy whose dd has left PH, plus maybe a few others that know-face-dunno-nick. I suspect php knows me. Wuahaha again :rotflmao: BTW I love to see your post lah, really spice up this PH thread.
According to your profile, you are not in Singapore and have no kids. :!:
And you read our PH thread. Markfch you are create some attention to this thread

I only met EL and CL T and got to know that the Avg. for EL is 76 and CL is 90 or 90.5 for my son's class. How about M1 and Sci. avg.? anyone can share?
I also found that my ds's CL T is very helpful 😄

Sci average is 81. Don't know about MA tho.

Teamwork 9
EL - Avg : 78.6 Highest : 94
CL - Avg : ?(my guess is between 93 to 95) Highest : 100
Sci - Avg : 86 Highest : 92.5
Maths (M1) - Avg : 88 Highest : 97
Thank you IJJ and dyh. Now I roughly know where is my boy's standard. Similar to last year.

Dear Mr Trapwithin, it only shows that I am extremely non-compliant and shy. 😄

Both Ts told me that ds is coping well academically but (haha saw that one coming) he tends to rush to finish his homework resulting in untidiness and carelessness.

ds1 got this comment on rushing work since he was in kindergarten. Any tips get round this?

I went to school at about 8.30am and left an hour later. Only talked to CL and Maths T. EL T is form T for P5, so din talk to her. She left an analysis with the CL teacher, which is ds form teacher.

I prefer SA, than without. Let me knows how ds is performing.

PH parents here very chatty…and I don’t usually read what I’ve missed bcos there are far too many pages.

Hi LE ANN,

Yes, it's really good and very lucky to have a good CL teacher esp when kids dislike this subject. He explained to us clearly how to stimulate his interest.
Hi Janet
I totally agree with you as your ds is so very LUCKY to have a nice CL T. Can you share the tips you have got from your ds CL T ?
I recalled last year when I attended my elder dd PTC when her maths teacher said she doesn't need to teach \"this class much (!!) and she only needs to touch and go\" !!! How can this maths T said such thing...not everyone in this class has rich parents that can afford to send their kids to expensive tuition class. I knew almost half the class went for enrichment at Thomson.....Heard everyone in that class score A* in their PSLE...but whose efforts ??

Ar, you want close-up or make-over one? Full body or half body? Hmm I think half body better cos don't think the photo is big enough to accommodate my full size  .

Btw, your kid(s) not at PH rite? Seems to recall seeing your posts in some other sch's thread but for the moment can't remember which one. Wait a min, don't tell me you're also one of those parents whose kid swapped schs at end of P3? Hmmm ......

To be honest, I really don't know. Let me think what's most dear to ds .... Got it, I will go into NAG OVERDRIVE. Failing that, I'll most probably threaten to half ds's computer gaming time. That should do the trick.

Luckily (for me) you're not Grace Fu 😉 . I prefer to do away with this distraction. I'll just give ds regular assessment exercises and base his performance on that instead. I think I'm a very lucky PH parent. First they do away with streaming at end-P1, then this. Knowing me, if there's streaming I'll have to work harder. Now I just throw ds some story books to read on his own and he'll auto-pilot. Phew!
but are they going ahead with the p2 too....

That's what I heard .. No SA1 ... But P will be issuing a letter soon. The teachers are keeping mum on this.

Looks like this year's P3 is the unfortunate batch... 😞

:celebrate: to the P1s n P2s!! :celebrate:
Sounds like P makes her metaphor comes true.. :? as during her session with parents last year re naming of classes in 2011 onwards, she shared her strategy in assigning the T in different levels starting from P6/P5/....etc etc....least emphasis on P3s......?
Agreeable or not agreeable to P's approach, to certain extent parents have to emphatise...anyway it's difficult to meet everybody's needs ...
So P3s also 'Jia-you Jia-you\"...
