Really a sad thing to happen. But when mother nature β€˜gets angry’, no way to stop or prevent. It is really a blessing to stay in Singapore where there is no natural disaster in our country.

Very sad to read about the recent spate of natural disasters around the world. Watched the youtube video clip above and looked as if Mother Earth is wounded and bleeding. 😞

The disasters are all so close to home and it does get a little scary. Really puts things into perspectives. Teaches us not to take so many things for granted and really not to sweat the small stuff.

Guess we dont have many such trained personnel & dogs for disasters. Also, maybe some are still in NZ.
Remember the Hotel New World collapse?

                  Well, all living things die.
Despite being the most prepared for earthquakes and tsunami country, being confronted with mother nature, the latter still won.

A schoolmate's father died in the Hotel New World collapse. Was in the bank at that time, one of those happened to be in the wrong place at the wrong time. 😞

Japan will pick up eventually but at this moment, the contain of radiation seems more important.
