A schoolmate's father died in the Hotel New World collapse. Was in the bank at that time, one of those happened to be in the wrong place at the wrong time.auntieM:
Why can't we send more?
Guess we dont have many such trained personnel & dogs for disasters. Also, maybe some are still in NZ.
Remember the Hotel New World collapse?

That's what I think. There are so much toxins and pollutants around us that we are taking in all these impurities. Sometimes it may not affect our generation but subsequent generations.schweppes:

Well, these are the things we can't change and have no means to change but to accept.
Unsure if Singapore will start some fund raising like we had for Sichuan Earthquake. -
Now that the nuclear plant has exploded, there may be very serious consequences. DH said the chemicals released into the air will form droplets and contaminate drinking water, crops, farm animals, not to mention the air the Japanese people breathe in every day...such radiation can cause cancer, deformity and other diseases. Really scary just thinking about it.
Really pray that the nuclear plant explosion is not too serious...
