Yup…so close proximity at Victoria St.

Back then in sec school, whenever there were prefect investiture (something like that)…SJI boys were always around, for reasons unknown. SJI and IJ girls usually pair up.

The SJI boys helped in the investiture?

Yes. Historical connections when the two schools were in Bras Basah. 🙂

Just like Nanyang girl and Hwa Chong boys meeting at the bridge of love. 🙂

Nope...official welcome of prefects to school doesn't involve SJI...why they were invited is still something I don't quite understand.

Umm. … a lot of combi among my frens. NY gers married Catholic High boys, SCGS gers married ACS boys, etc.

              Joyfulhands,
I am also unsure. Is the church supposed to issue the members with the letters? Maybe will check with church at a later date.

hi, any idea if child stays outside 2km, under phase 2c, is there still a glimpse of hope to get into RGPS?

the probability is even lower than winning first prize in TOTO or big sweep....

Very very very very little. You can check the past statistics.

Actually, there have been moderate chances of registrating ur child under 2C for > 2km for the last 4 years except 2010. In 2007, the chance was ~ 22%, in 2008, the chance was ~ 44%, and in 2009, the chance was ~ 42%. However last year 2010, the chance was zero.. Because there were more applicants than vacancies for those staying < 2 km. You can check the stats from Rgps website..

http://www.rgps.moe.edu.sg[/quote]The reason is because there are more condos around RPGS now...so the joke about staying in Pulau Ubin and getting a place in RPGS is a thing of the past.
