      Yes hope all these will end soon so that Japan can focus on recovery. Apparently there were 2 more quakes last night. Poor people of Japan. My heart goes out to them, especially the young ones.

          Yes why not?

          Provided they are not \"made in Japan\". However, these days, most Japanese brand detergents are made in Thailand, Indonesia, Malaysia etc. You hardly can get those \"made in Japan\" unless you buy it from Japan.

            sad as it may be, life has to go on. i will continue to buy japanese products unless the govt says stop.

                    I was not really paying attention, but on the news there was something about packets of salt being swept off the shelves by consumers in Sheng Siong and some other supermarkets. What’s that about?

                      some rumour started by some chinese that salt can protect against radiation, sparking off some panic buying of salt in China. Some locals might have read the \"tips\" and decided to buy some too. :roll:

                        I think is stable iodine tablets that are useful, salt not much of the use...
