What is the meaning of 'Allied Educators' ?
Allied Educators partner our teachers in and out of the classroom. Allied Educators (Teaching and Learning) work closely with teachers in the classroom to facilitate learning. Allied Educators (Learning and Behavioural Support) assist children with special learning needs and Allied Educators (Counselling) to look into children’s emotional wellbeing. This means that your child’s learning and developmental needs will be more comprehensively looked after by his school.
In line with the enhanced emphasis on non-academic areas within the curriculum, MOE will increase the number of Allied Educators to about 2,500 by 2015 for both primary and secondary schools. The Allied Educators will partner teachers as part of our efforts to build a new generation teaching force.
To maintain the calibre of the teaching service, MOE will also put in place all-graduate teacher recruitment by 2015. -

Most primary schools seem to have them but based on the forum I was reading, you will have to call up the schools to find out what the schools does with the AEDs posted to them and their supportive levelHi,

When do we receive the P1 registration letter?
As I divorced last year & my child moved with me to a new house now. I just called MOE & they said they can only mail the letter to the Father's house. We are still under custody battle. How to get the letter, headache

Why not check with MOE again? Pls also note tat yr child will follow the father's address when register and not yr new address, therefore it will affect the school distance......pls verify with MOE too.When do we receive the P1 registration letter?

Tks so much for your advise. Im ex-student & will register my child same as mine. My main concern now is when do we usually receive the letter. Do u need the letter when registering?
