Oh Just a Week-ly Chinese Compo Writing Class conducted in RC Centre in Toh Yi Estate.
Cheap-Cheap only. But that's the Only Ext Class (Non-CCA) that my Gal attends since P1 ....

          Errrrrrr ....
Never Ask her to Do Any Additional Compo Writing at Home, Coz I think my Gal has Got Enough Already ....
Don't want her to Run out of BRAIN JUICE Too Often, Right?
Caveat : We Never Look for A* in PSLE CL, So Both Mummy and dd Are Pretty Satisfied with her current score ....

Can't Help But Notice Your Stress Level is Really Super HIGH!
At this Rate you'll overtake Janet ....

Your Gal is in P2, so Maybe U could Work along with PH Sch Pace ....
And Monitor Along the Way ....
No Need to be Undue-ly worried, esp when it is the first time your Gal does something like Compo ....
Hi hl124273, I notice it too. Learning is a very long journey. It is good to involve yourself and place emphasis to help your child, as long as it is not to the extent of taking out the joy in learning. Sounded like your child will do just fine.

There is no class ranking in P2 .. it is the same set of classmates she had since P1 that she hangs out with. How much better ... 9 and 10 upon 10.
Anyway, her friends' exam results all >90 for all 3 subjects.

I think at this rate, my tyre sure punctured when she reaches higher primary .. hahaha

Hubby also told me to relax, and not to worry, especially my gal likes to watch TV first thing in the morning all the way till before the school bus arrives .. hence I am worried as that is not the best use of time and i can't really help much since I am at work .. at least the chinese private tutition takes away the TV time.
Tried to give her homework to complete, sometimes she completes it anyhow , sometimes she does it properly, at times she doesn't do it at all.
Tried taking away the TV remote control, and the kids will still continue to on the power on button to watch. Right after she comes back from PH, she will turn on TV first thing and eat her dinner, taking 30 mins to finish her dinner. I let be, take it as unwind time. Guess all kids are like that ..

                      Hi hl124273,

I get my kids to bathe when they step into the house with warm water…with HFMD, I am particular about hygiene even more.
Besides, it’s hard to get them to bathe after lunch.

Allow my kids to watch 1/2 hour TV on Tuesday nights (Noose) to unwind.
