Hi,
In my personal opinion, if your child can do well in NYPS past year papers, his math is very good (congrats!). I only give my child NYPS papers after his exams as (1) the standards are way above his school standards ie I prefer him to try out other past year papers which are similar to his school's standard (2) I don't want to demoralise/scare him. -

Hi Janet,janet_lee88:
Yup...this is THE ONE.
Now, I'm sick, really sick of seeing assessment books.
Yes, Thats why every time I see this kind of posts I don't really answer them. I just read them for knowledge. Now I don go to popular as well. -
me too, agree 冠军王 is good especially for pre-exam revision.
Now that I get 冠军王 for my P1 gal, I give EPH Weekly Chinese a miss.
WOW! Seems like 冠军王 is the most recommended Chinese Assessment Book! Guess I will get the 3B book after SA1 or else will be too many for DD to work on lioa
I checked out 冠军王 at popular yesterday. Can't find 冠军王 for HCL.
Or is there a version for Higher Chinese? -

There should be a version for Higher Chinese. Depending on which branch of popular, try looking for it at the \"normal\" assessment books (or even textbook) shelf, if u can't find it at the open piles of assessment books. Otherwise try asking the popular staff. Hope u can find it soon!

I like your de-stress way :ugogirl:
As I am a full-time working mummy so at times I have to take leave and go for a day to de-stress myself! Yes - that what I do today! Started shopping since 10am and till 5pm! Was in town the whole day - Raffles City, Ion Orchard, Wisma Atria, Takashimaya, Isetan Scotts, Tangs............
But Oh But Oh But......I don't know how at ard 4pm I was at IMM :? I don't drive but somehow landed in a taxi that took me there! :rotflmao: Well, you guess it - my feet brought me into Popular again! :stupid: But this time I just stood there to browse thru the Andrew Er's & Fabian Ng's Problem-Solving Books. Also flip thru the Andrew Er's Worksheet. But thank God
- I \"curb the temptation\" - Did Not buy any! :dowan:
Haha....probably I was already very tired when I reached so the urge is not strong to but anymore assessment books for DD1. Also, I would like to speak to her Maths T 1st regarding the syllabus that she will be teaching.
Well, at least the day was well spent :celebrate: I got myself a pair of Aldo shoe, a Lesportsac Bag that is on sales (40% off) and another pair of sandal from Tangs. Oops...seems like I am going :offtopic:
