Believe we were both posting at about the same time. My post was at 2028, yours was at 2030, and so happened at that time, the thread moved to a new page, I think.

Haha, of course I know you well. :celebrate: It's like 3 months of non-stop chatting over breads and everything else about food, from breads to bakes, to bak kwa to fried oyster to soups to ice cream to thermal pots to mangoes! πŸ˜›

It's more expensive to buy the small little packs. I weigh my butter. After a while, you get a hang of how much to use without weighing.

Same here. I use the block butter too and seriously, with a digital weighing scale, weighing the correct amount is a breeze. To save me from having to wash oily container, I weigh my butter on top of a small clean plastic bag, so I don't have to use the weighing scale container at all. Simply throw the plastic bag after that.

I do the same. No need to wash.

Yeah lor... i think the fastest thread πŸ˜‰

No, I don't think so. Think the PHP school thread takes the cake in the forum for being the fastest moving thread and the longest school thread so far.

haha.. this thread is so enjoyable.. Btw, what is PHP thread? I tried to get a pack of bread flour today, but i couldn't get any bread flour nearby my place. Only have all purpose flour and plain flour. All breadmaking shifu here, what should I use? :?

I already promise my sons to bake a loaf of home made white bread for them... Last night my sons also asked me, can the breadmaker make the dough for prata and puff (like chicken puff from polar)?

hiks hiks 😒 So I can't make the bread today.. 😒 . Is it possible to substitute the bread flour with all purpose flour or mix it with other flour? I have a pack of self rising flour at home.. . Anyone has ever tried making the bread with other type of flour (not bread flour)?
