Dear KSChief,I have to share my encounter with this agency, A-Team Amahs and Cleaners.
I got a part-time maid from them, the first one they sent to me never turn up after first session, i called and ask for another maid, which they took a week to respond.
The second maid came and last only for two session, the same thing happened, no show after that.
I am really upset and doubt the realibility of the maid and the agency A-Team Amahs and Cleaners, i wanted a refund of the agency fee i paid, of S$200 over, was told strictly no refund by a staff name \"JULIE\", she sounded rude and unprofessional.
I have no option, i guess maybe i need to make a report to CASE.
The agency took the fee and was not able to deliver as promised, everything sound so perfect when i first made contact with them.
Never felt so cheated before !!!!

Hi…
Need recommendation for a part time domestic helper to just do specific cleaning jobs on, perhaps, a fortnightly basis. I just need help to do the toilets, clean windows/grilles/glass/mirrors and changing of bedsheets. My location is Marine Parade. Please kindly PM any recommendation. TIA! -

It should be some online ads if my memory did not fail me. You can try searching for some ads online and search under domestic helper or part time maid etc, you may be able to see some. HTH.ppnqq:
Browsed through some ad just now and was surprised that many maids were self-advertising themselves for transfer! I doubt their employers know about this. :!:
Where did you read this? Must go check it out. -
Any good recommendations? My current one is driving me more crazy now, she is getting from bad to worse!
She is from China and has been with us for a year already. Initially she was ok but started to ‘show colour’ on the 3rd month. Basically now she is not much different from those foreign domestic maids who are problematic. Doesn’t follow instructions, damaged lots of our things, lazy - cut lots of corners, takes forever to do her job so as to earn more and yet, things were not properly done or not even done at all (even when told to finish it off in 4hrs time), has a golden mouth (does not inform or check with me if some things are damaged, has some problems or not sure of something etc), take advantages of me and is overly-overboard now.
Need someone who is fast, honest, hardworking and conscientious. TIA. -

Anyone knows of part time maids that can help mainly with ironing and mopping the house once a week? I need one urgently as the current one I have fractured her leg and can’t do much for the next few months.

Hi,
My cousin is looking for a part-time helper.
Location : Simei
Rates : $10-$12 per hrs (MAX 4hrs)
Job Scope : Cleaning/Tidying One (01) bedroon & marketing
Please contact Linda @91458764. -
what is the point of paying additional cost like agent fee or registration fee? although the cleaner is charge at $10-$12/hr which is cheap but when you calculate together with what you have pay for the agent fee is more expensive. this is what i think. For those who need a part time maid, you may want to try out dust matters. Im not trying to promote them but would like to share good things to all of you here. im like alot of people here, have tried afew cleaning companies and come across afew problems and also quarrel with the company. just 3 months ago i engage this company called dust matters and till now they have never failed me, giving me no problems. Im satisfied with their service.
You may want to try it out. See, try to believe. you can visit their web at http://www.dust-matters.com.sg -

Yes, I COMPLETELY AGREE with you!! Have had several bad encounters myself too! These China cleaners can even try to sell you things like shoes from China as their side earnings. Besides, some can even talk on th handphone with one hand and do the cleaning chores with the other! So professional that I think none of us here can do like them!!
When confronted of such poor work attitude to cut corners and drag time to maximise their earnings without performing quality work, they can glib their way through and talk louder than you (the one paying the money).....they just can't be out-talked. :x
I'm currently working with an agency to source for a replacement because my current China cleaner MIA after I confronted her on her last session of her poor work attitude. Her agency can even suggest that I be nicer to her (like serving her drinks and giving her some goodies like snacks to eat during her cleaning sessions) so that her work attitude can improve!!! RIDICULOUS!! Over my past decade of work experience, I had never expect my boss to serve me in order that I can perform better!! So frustrated over those agencies who are only intested in earning commission and not interested in hearing employers' concerns and needs :stupid:
If my new replacement cleaner works out good, I will feedback here to share with all. Wish me luck !!
