Hi,


I have just signed up for PV at RVPS and read thru this thread... getting a little anxious over my boy's chance (born in 2006) of getting into the school since 2010's P2C was so different from historical pattern

Anyway, can any existing RVPS parents enlightened me on the school's session timing, frequency of CCAs and experience with school bus operator? Primary 1 is on afternoon session? oh dear... then i might have to rearrange his enrichment classes' timing but will be grateful if i can get in, as i didn't realise that the education system has evolved to be SO competitive and really :stupid: for not being more kiasu even earlier :lol:

Took me a long while to figure out about the existing Primary school registration system (what on heaven is Phase 1 -3 then) and deliberating between RVPS and RMPS :oops: Really out of touch :lol: and kudos to KSP website! my savior!

Hi,

I signed up in early Jan, should be ard 2nd week. Called RV then and was told that they have about 50+ PV candidates on the list already and they are closing at 60. Hence, I faxed in my docs immediately and called again to confirm I am within 60 :lol:

Saw from RVPS website that they closed PV application for child born in 2006 wef 18 Jan.

So have u been choosen to be PV in RVPS?

That's my concern too, as in whether our application and submission within the cut off of intake of 60 PVs is equivalent to been chosen and confirm as a PV there Sighh and looks like doing PV doesn't mean we will be guaranteed a place too after putting in the hours don't have much choices of schools for me here at Central area and looking to Cantonment Primary as backup plan. Both hubby and my Pri Sch are non-existent so we don't have any Phase 2A to fall back on


Any advice?
