      Peony:

My DD builds her \"foundation\" before she hits other schools past exam papers. So basic infor is still important.

Aside from EPH's booster, she likes:
Renee Chong's Science Companion Boxed set
      Ultimate Science Guide
and to assess she's able to recall essential infor, she uses:
      Oxford Primary essentials
and SAP's Learning Science (she likes the puzzle type qns).

This was the strategy for P3 and 4. Now no time... :nailbite:
      Hi Peony,
Really appreciates much to share the strategy :thankyou:

I have the Renee Chong's science Companion Boxed Set too as recommended by DD's tutor.

Hope I will be able to help to build up her foundation and interest in Science so in turns she will learn to appreciate & love this subject

          Hi Janet,
You are very \"updated\" and thank you for the info :udawoman:

So am wondering will the \"updated\" version be better than the current one where the lower block they have 5 books for the different theme? Guess this evening I have much to do at IMM Popular again :rotflmao: :rotflmao:

No harm comparing...think it's just choosing between 5 thin books or 1 thick book for lower block...should not be too much difference since it's new syllabus now.

Guess really have to \"wear sensor\" - IMM Popular will be \"monitoring\" - why this woman stands there to browse thru the copies for such a long time? :?

                Hi Champion,

I have been away from Popular IMM sensor for the past 1 week…hehehe.
The last time I was there, I stood and almost knelt for 45 min going through some English assessment for my son. Had a backache when I reached home. Wished there was a stool for me to sit on then.

There is this publication by Ace…It is ‘Science Explorer’. I just remembered that book as son brought it back as homework. Told him to leave it behind for me to go through when his teacher has marked it. The answers behind are quite close to past year exam questions.

Guess, I need not step into Popular (at least for the time being 😉). A very dear colleague knows that I have plans to go to Popular IMM after work. So instead of me doing that, she \"quietly\" went to Popular Marine Parade on my behalf and got me the guide books while running errands outside the office! :snuggles: She got me the following 2 books which she feels have better and more detailed explanation than the rest as she also stood there to browse thru all the guide books before making the decision.

Am very thankful to have such thoughtful & meticulous colleague; blessings! :dancing:

                    Hi Champion,

Your colleague is so sweet…she even got you 2 helpful Science reference books…esp the Ultimate Science. Honestly if you read it faithfully, it will be very helpful. After reading this and that reference book, Ultimate Science is sufficient.

                      Hi Janet,
Thanks for the assurance - now I know that I have to read it faithfully :D..

                        Hi champion,

You certainly have a colleague who is experienced in this field. I was lucky to find out about this title from the mummies here. Now I must agree Ultimate Science is going to be my ‘story book’ for the next 2 years at least.
