Dear fellow Northeastlander (hougang area)


Could you give me some feedback on Punggol Pri School in HOUGANG(just few blocks away) ?
DD is about to enrol in Jul 2009. DS's turn will be next year.

I am hesitating to enrol her under mil's address(caretaker route) - to Holy Innocent Primary (slightly more than 1km) but maybe placed in balloting

OR send her to St Anthony Primary (Bukit Batok) - DH ex-school.

Please help give some comments!

There was a time when there was a show in channel 8 hosted by \"zhong qin\" so thot of using hdbtaitai but it was taken by someone oredi so I ended it up with the digit8.

hope more KS (northeast - hougang) will feedback on this relatively new school.

dun feel bad - I am a new residence in KS city. Glad to know that so many sisters is trying to help me.

I posted the thread in newbie (query for northlander) yet not much response.

so i tried in hougang thread. I think partly is becos the school name is Punggol so can kind of confused parents that it is located in Punggol.

Have a wonderful weekend cos TGIF....and all the way to YOUTH DAY!
(NO SCHOOL ON MONDAY!)

anyone of u is a buddhist who put yr child in a christian school? anyone of u encounter before? any affect? think of putting my gal in HIPS but i scare later she will become a christian after entering the school.. anyone of u can tell me more abt HIPS? I saw chinese is the only subject in 2nd language, is tat mean the school are all chinese students only? is there still other races of teacher teaching or only chinese in the school? I need to understand more the school..

I had a friend whose kid is in HIPS P1 this year through the alumni route. So far her feedback has been positive.
FYI- From the past stats, HIPS has balloting for those staying <1km for Phase 2C.
