Traditional Ginger Tea

Schweppes, I was at the Isetan Fair too, but never saw the ginger sugar. Are you refering to the supermarket?Forgot to mentioned in earlier post. Last month, during one of Isetan's Japan Fair (before the recent tragedies), I bought some ginger sugar at the fair. About 1-2 teaspoon of ginger sugar makes one cup of tea.
Of course brewing it the old fashioned way is definitely more healthy but sometimes, if you want it fast, then the ginger sugar comes in handy. Not sure if they have it on their shelves at Isetan supermarket. Got it during their special promos.

I got my ginger sugar at Parkway Parade. I think it was just last month or early this month. Isetan was having their Japan Food Fair at the atrium. I think it was only for a special promo event. Not sure if they had it at the city outlets.

I also bought their yuzono seasoning (yuzu or citrus soy sauce - interesting right!?!), some dashi stock and freshly ground sesame seeds. Very nice.
