Hi Mummies,

So the kids results will slowly improve towards year end ?
Son's 3 subjects (Eng/Science/Chinese) is in the 60s range...Band 3. Red for Maths. Just planned his revision time-table and hope to see better results for SA1 πŸ™ πŸ™ πŸ™

      Janet,
With you the committed mum planning all the revision and working side by side with your DS, I'm sure his results will improve. Don't worry too much as it will cause DS more stressed and kids may not perform well under stress. PSLE is still a long way - consistent work and all should be well. All the Best!

I plan his revision but I am not the one studying 😒 On one hand, don't want to burn him out before MAJOR marathon next year, but if don't continue to work hard, how to improve ? I know this sounds contradictory but I am at a loss...cannot get burnt out myself.
Hi Janet

Yes, don't worry. You still have June and Nov- Dec Holiday to prepare for next year PSLE . In fact, most of the topics for P6 maths had already covered during P5.

I tend to agree with Brenda. You are worrying too early. There is still time and most topics for PSLE not covered yet. Consistent work thru' out P5 will ensure good results to follow by P5 year end and in P6.

            Hi Mummies,

Appreciate your kind concern. Certainly need to keep some energy for next year.

Hey, need your advice. The comprehension assessment book I get son to practice on seems insufficient and hardly helps compared to the REAL thing found in CA/SA. I am using Conquer Comprehension. Any useful titles pls? Thanks.

@Janet, agree it is a long road. We vent and hug each other here so we can keep charging ahead.

Re: English compre - have you tried schools’ past year papers ? I quite like those.

                Hi Janet

In this case, may be is better to work on actual paper and learn from there since you had encountered this issue.

                Just my 2 cents thought
