My DD1 is going P1 in 2014. Need to complete my PV by May 2013. I think I better fill up and scan and email back to the sch.

2014 !! That's 3 years away, which school are you doing PV for? I thought only NHPS have to submit PV application 3 years before P1 reg... -
mambobb:
PSG = Parent Support Group :politebleah: , so what they are asking is 40 hours and 1 year of PSG , that sounds harsh...One question on PV, i received the email from the principle and he stated:\"YOu will need to volunteer your services for at least 40hrs, and served as an active PSG member for at least a year in order to qualify...\"
I understand the 40hrs, but I dont understand what is PSG member. Can help? -

I am doing PV for Tampines Pri. But based on the 2010 statistic, there isn't any PV register for this sch. I am not sure whether should I start to KS to register anot as 3yrs down the road, no one knows what will happen.
Since there isnt any PV for 2010, why they want to include PSG together with PV? :x -

PSG is for parents whose children are already in the school. The work that you do is no different from that of PV's. -

If PSG is for parents whose children are in the sch already, then why they include this in PV requirements? :?

To prepare parents that their \"road to volunteering\" doesn't end with the successful application of their children into the school.
Very often, parents who volunteered just to qualify their children in P2B stopped contributing once their children managed to get into the school. -

But what can the school do if those ex-PVs do stop volunteering? To prepare parents that their \"road to volunteering\" doesn't end with the successful application of their children into the school.
