Heard from my colleague, kids are given lots of homework.

From my own experience during primary school years, this is probably the most important way to survive but of coz not the only way

and if you think your child cannot survive in a very stressful place, then you'd better place her in a less stressful environment. Kids need competition as well as encouragement and confidence.

                  hi,
i've 4 nieces/ nephew in rulang, plus many friends' kids and neighbor's kids there since i live in the area.

more HW is one thing, the tests and HW is harder too. initially no comparison cos my nieces/ nephew are older and my son was not in pr sch yet. but my friend's kid recently transferred to rulang. they just opened a new p3 class consisting entirely of new transfers from other schs' p2 kids who did v well.

my friend said her kid found the tasks harder. only chinese was about the same std as her prev sch.

though there's lots of hw, cos my nieces/ nep will be doing hw when we hv gatherings, they still like sch and enjoy their ccas so i think it is not that bad where they can't cope with the stress.

for me, i didn't send my son there cos he's the playful sort, and a morning person. and he happens to be passionate abt a cca that is not rulang's niche, so i just picked another sch that suited him better.

Thanks for ur valuble info. šŸ˜„

the good side from more HW and hard HW/test is, if the kid can cope with stress/competition well, its good for their future development.

I try my best to get Rulang PV first šŸ™ , as we living 1-2km and not parents with some speciality, sign  .
