My girl too, she’s very proud and claimed that it’s her first medal, with many more to come.
I guess all the races start quite promptly, the only complain i have is that at the end of the race, they didn’t give out the certificates to all participants or the so called goody bags. Luckily my nephew completed the age 5-6 race earlier and we were aware of it and asked. The organisers were still packing them…hmm thought they would know the number of participants and prepared sufficient bags? Also they have different items in the bags for different races? My girl only has 2 friendship bands, a FILA sticker and the certificate in the bag. -
my boy completed the blue sky chase today too…
he enjoyed it thoroughly … but i guess like most 3-yr-olds he is more fascinated by the balloons than the "i am a winner" star medal…
i think that it is generally still a well organised event. -
I think it was a very well plan event. My girls went for the Purple Chase event and too enjoyed themsevles. They were thrill running along the anderson bridge and also crossing the finishing lines.

Wow! Didn't know about this! Found my DS. I'd place the order cos the shot is hard to come by.

You’re welcome, kingrascal. In fact, I only found out when I got an email from organisers of the women’s 10k event. I dont think the kids’ run organisers sent out any emails. I’ve received the pic of sonny with both feet in the air. Very well taken , I must say.

mathsparks,
I don't know where to post this, also don't want to start new thread unnecessarily...
Need your advice, please.
I remember you mentioned that you do stair climbing ...
I want to try stair climbing as a form of exercise. Don't have time to go to gym regularly and this is something I can do rain or shine and most importantly, when DS is taking aft nap.
My quest is - are there any specific warm up exercises to do?? Is the warm up ex for jogging and brisk walking applicable for this type of work out??
TIA -
I just use the stairs to walk down and sometimes use the stairs to climb up. No warming up at all, hope its ok.
