Ya, we will be in PH's T-shirt (courtesy of our big sista - Funx3! or at least for her help to secure those!) cheering the girls!
On a serious note, do come if u are free, especially if u are a lower pri student's parent open to explore this performing art as your dd's CCA. We need more talents! It is really a beautiful performance to the eyes. It is so elegant and graceful (like ballet), yet skillful (like Artistic Gymnastic). I was totally mesmerized by it when I kay-po to attend last yr's Open competition, I couldn't stop my strings of \"Woah! Wu! So nice!\" My dd was also captivated by it so much then that she decisively dropped her Chinese dance in sch and switched to RG .. heehee.. so far never long back and enjoys it so much .. and aspiring to be like those big jie-jie.. eg Funx3's dd lah!
Hope the passion, determination and perseverance (haha, we joked that it is 1 year's of hardship for 1min+ of fame!) last ..

          Funx3:

But What if It is Genuine-ly Unknown to The Child?
For Example, My Gal has encountered a few times, when she got into the Class late becoz of Prefect Duties, Some Kind or other of Briefing (Not Involving the other Classmates), Dental Check-up, .... She Simply did not know of such and such a thing need to be brought for Class.

And Upon seeing her other classmates bringing these to sch early in the morning, she called home to pass her the things during recess, so that she won't miss the lessons ....
So the Kid Gotta be penalised for this as well?
Sista, understand your dilemma and uncalled-for anxiety when fault lies not with the kids, but with the system... :?
Like the other suggestions, go-by the 'loop-hole'....

Mrsbongz, replied you oredi. Most parents of P1 kids I talked to said that their kids can't wait to go sch (can you believe it, keke). But there's a few parents who have also told me that they need to drag their kids to sch daily.

Do you want me to ask my ds to 'casually' check with yours on any possible reasons why so?
