The delay is on which part? The duration from your chairman put forth his recommendation (as EM) till PA send you an official letter confirming you are an EM?

How do you know you are a EM in the RC meeting? Through the attendance sheet? Minutes? Or...?

If you are registered as a EM in Jun 10, I thought you should qualify for this year P1 registration for P2B?

so when you join RC, you become EM, and have to be active for a year before can be considered to qualify for Phase 2B?

what do you do to become active in EM? organise fairs or visit pple, or what?

RC = Residents' Committee
EM = Executive Member (all confirmed RC members are knows as EM, include those who hold exec position like Chairman, Secretary etc). Also known as Grassroots Leader (GRL).

You join RC as Observers. Depending on your contributions and commitment, you will be made an EM some months later (usually 6 or more months but can be as short as 3 months). However, this is subjected that you passed PA's screening. From becoming an EM officially, you need 12 months of service to qualify for the P2B. So, example, to apply for P1 under P2B this May/Jun 11 for 2012 intake you need to be an EM before or on 30 Jun 10.

Is it difficult to join RC? If the RC is not active then how? BTw, if they ask y do u want to join PA, do we say the truth?

Holland-Bukit Timah and Tanjong Pagar GRC is the best to become grassroots as most of the popular schools are in this two GRC... :lol:

Sad to say, i used to be in holland bukit timah and now changed to tanjong pagar.. what gd schs in tanjong pagar.. ? dun seem like there are.. if they are all far away beyond 2 km. In phase 2 B got more than 2 km?

It depends on which school you are looking at.

U may want to move to Senja, Jelapang or Segar as they are under Holland-Bukit Timah. :lol:

RGPS, ACS, SCGS are in Tanjong Pagar GRC.

If I am not wrong, ACPS and SCGS are in the new Moulmein-Kallang GRC.
