MTIA

I was wondering what MTIA stands for - MoTher in Anxiety? If so, there's another MTIA here!
Sorry, haven't been paying attention to the open houses so not sure if there's a season for it. Will start looking out! -

I think Janet may be right.
All subjects scores are divided by 2 for PSLE.
English and Chinese full scores are 200. Divide by 2 will be 100 each.
Maths and Science full scores are 100. Divide by 2 will be 50 each.
Thus, total aggregate is 300.
Each language is 1/3 of aggregate score whereas Maths/Science is only 1/6. As such, languages have a higher weightage for PSLE. -

No. All subjects same weightage.I think Janet may be right.

For example, you got 100 ringgit, 100 rupiah, 100 peso and 100 baht. All 100 but value is not. Then the currency strong or weak will also affect the value. You want to use them in Sg, must change all to Sg$. Then combine them before spending. -

If your child's report slip includes a level analysis paper which states each subject average score and the standard deviation, you will be able to calculate the aggregate for your child, but for school-based only. For national exams, we do not know the mean and std d. -
Hi, anyone has experiences registering their children in new primary schools? Can share your experiences and comments? Thanks!

hi all,
my only daughter will be going to Primary in the year 2013. Iam in bukit merah. I have CHIJ(Kellocks) and Radin Mas both within <1km. So can anybody suggest me which will be the better choice?
