Use of correction-tape allowed in PSLE?

Just back from Popular and also heard MONO brand under Tombo is pretty much sought after by students, trying it out before deciding to stock up when the next Popular sale kicks in


So, bottom line is students need to be neat and tidy whether they use correction tapes or cancel over it or use conventional pen eraser (though doubtful it is popular amongst the kids in this generation)

Why not correction pen? I prefer this to correction tape.

I thought so too.....we from same era ....but now the trend is not I guess.....DS says it's too wasting time , have to wait for it to dry first, time is precious....

Exactly the same reason as my dd.
Yes, maybe have to wait for it to dry etc but who asks you to press so much ? :x

apart from wasting time waiting for it to dry,
if u write over the correction pen, most likely yr pen will encounter problem in writing,
so better dun use correction tape or pen.

If correction tape is used ,
there are chances it peals off then the corrected part is lost.
some children wait for the tape to dry before writing the correction and may forget to write it as they go ahead with the work.
A few layers of uneven correction tape make writing on it unclear

So there are risks for some kids
And since schools have to use a one size fits all approach, they will use the safer option.

So be a judge about your childs need, its good to practice some austerity but if they can handle it, just let them.

DD used it last year. She neeeeds one. Scratching, cut ting out words is a blasphemy in her dictionary. :roll:

It's okie to change especially for composition, when the crux becomes too exciting, certain phrases come to their minds, just have to change it.
The best will be like using keyboard, just need to use backkey or delete off, no trace at all....hahaha
