Use of correction-tape allowed in PSLE?

Hi janet_lee88,Hi Picolo,
I get very heartache
when he uses the correction tape for the whole line. Can't he just cancel nicely ? That's so much cheaper. He told me teacher said must tape over and cover mistakes...must be kidding. I didn't use correction tape like the way he does.
No kidding. I think our kids have the same teachers! Mine said the teachers told them this too...
During our time, we only have liquid paper and the bottle can last very long, esp after adding the thinner. Sigh... -
Just to share that my son is using cheap but IMO quite good ballpoint pens which I buy from those ABC Centres. The ink is of a vibrabt blue shade and the flow is smooth too. Think 6 for $1.05. Recently bought the 4-in-1 type of pen ( green, red, blue, black ink) there, equally gd (5 for $1.05). The quality is better than the ones I bought from Popular, which cost $1.95 ea.
During exam times (esp his PSLE yr last yr), I will give him pens like Stabilo's Exam Grade pen. Ditto for erasers too... Think these have a \"psychological\" effect on him as he always asks for them during exams.

For Exam, DS is using Uni ballpoint pens and Pentel correction tape.
For normal use, he prefers gel pen (Pentel or Uni), though I tried giving him some Faber Castell ballpoint pens Iβve gotten from a hotel I frequent for my business trips. Like what most of you have mentioned, correction tape usage cost a bomb (average 1 last about 1-2 weeks only). Iβve tried this XinYan brand from local ABC type of shop and so far it is ok - tapes does not get tangled halfway and coverage ok. Not as good as the expensive brand, but who cares for normal use. Cost about $1 for a pack of 1 + 1 refill. -
Sorry for asking... I keep hearing ABC Centres and ABC type of shops etc. May I know what is ABC shop? :?

DS has a IHHO (not IMHO)....special pen from FT and says it is charmed with good luck as it did for students last year....refused to let me or his younger bro to use it....each child has his/her special way to help bring psychological effect and hopes it works sparkles for his this year too
