P1 parentsβ¦did your children come back telling u that they are supposed to turn up in sch in COSTUMES next Tues?
My ds came back talking abt this but there was no written instruction from T so not sure if this is real or just his imaginationβ¦

Congrats from me too, Funx3. Your dd has done the sch proud too. :salute:
You know, talking to you these few months made me realised that you're one special and rather unique mum I must say. The way you talk about not imposing academic expectation for your 2 dss, and just allowing them to explore what they really like.
At first I thought maybe you're not as involved as most of us here at PH thread, hehe. But as you share about accompanying your dd for calligraphy lessons every sat, and your encouragement in her RG adventure, I grow to realise that hey, you're as on-the-ball as the rest of us here. Maybe more so.
It's just that your views are more open then say, a person like me. I mean when ds wanted to try out tt for cca, I was secretly hoping that oh pls don't play so well and end up in competitive tt with its 3 times a week lesson. The scary part is that if ds really wanted to do it competitively - he doesn't whine, he just have to show me that sad look and the kong-tao will begin working on me - I don't know whether I can find the conviction in my heart to say no to him. Jin scary, this thought.
Agree with mrsbongz. The medal is secondary. But the memory your dd has of her mum's companionship throughout her sch journey is priceless. It really is. -

Wow What U Write Practically Reduce Me to Tears ....
I'm Not Really that Unique -la!
Am Sure ALL Parents Here Care About their Kids as Much as Both of Us Do. Area Emphasise May be Different. How we Manifest the Care and Method May Stem from each KSP Parents' Personal Experience. But the Love and Concern for our Kids Remains the Same.
As for Sports, CCA, etc .... My Personal View is that if our kid has the skill and the interest for it, just let them try it. As Parents, All we can do is provide support and Cheer them On. Just Let them Enjoy the Sch Journey. We know Studying is HARD Work for our Kids, so to have some Other Healthy Interest is Good for them.
And I Don't Want them to Regret later in Life that they have not been given the opportunities to develop further in an area where they R Really Good at ....
So Bro Mark, Give your boy a Chance to Try, If he Really is interested ....
We May have a TT \"Kuo-Shou\" in your Boy, U Know?
And thanks for your Encouraging Words to my Gal, as Well!

Well Done ..... Good Job. :celebrate:I'm Personally very Happy with My Gal's Performance Today, Although she did not Get Any Medals. But She's the Best Performer Today for her Div Among the Non-National Team Gymnasts, Given that she learnt the 4 Routines within the last 5 mths only.
That is Good Enough in Mummy's Eye's Already   -

How can GM lvl be unknown ...[/quote]Aiyo, trapwithin, mama already implies mum. So no need to mention mum lah... Unless like yours, \"trapwithin\", then we will have a hard time thinking if you are a daddy or mummy...
