When i saw the MOE brochure I was wondering how they are going to compute the T-score if the pupil take 1 or 2 standard subjects and take others at the foundation levels. Now I understand. 😄

Well it didnt' occur to me before....dumm mummy....meaning there are different sets of SD and Means to calculate T-Score ?

      MOE brochure states: The different
      expectations of standard and foundation
subjects will be taken into account when
your child’s PSLE score is calculated.

I remembered the one I attended also showed some possible subj combination leading to Express stream, Normal Acad stream, Normal Technical stream, ITE etc. No indication how PSLE t-score is computed differently.

The other day my elder boy was sharing how he thought he had it all covered when the sch conducted talks on managing stress/time mgt and how he felt these talks were not useful to him.

Now being busier with sec sch routine, he feels that these talks are very helpful.

So in the event the sch conducts such talks for your child, do remind your child to pay attention to the speaker. These skills might not be put into action now, but they will come in handy in future.
