So distance is not an issue then. That's good. Just tell your dd to study hard and she can get into any school of her choice.

For Open House, generally no need to apply. Sometimes need to register but no worries of you don't, as jtoh said it is just for logistic reason. Open House is just go look-see and come.
Are you talking about DSA? Then there is a dedicated thread for it.

NJC Open House is from 13-15 April. Their website says need to register by 6th April. Too bad, I saw too late. Well I'm going down today to take a chance. Hope they allow me into their 'High School Tour'

Hope it is not a problem for you, tisha, happy touring today ;)....also trying to make the trip happen today with kid too....

The trip was successful, they did not throw me out for not registering.
As jtoh said there was no Principal Talk but a Q and A by the vice principal. There was also a school tour complete with the tour of the boarding school too.
Overall, quite impressive. But the COP seems a bit unreachable for my DS. Anyway :xedfingers:

While returning home a Q popped into my mind. Does NJC have a predetermined number of seats for GEP students for their DSA. Regret not asking it during the Q and A. :slapshead: Can someone throw some light on this?
