10 Primary schools upgrading and 3 will move to temp premise

when upgrading, what does that mean, will move to the new location or still stay in the same school premises?

I had a question, if Rulang and Nan Hua, have a choice, which school will U let ur children apply:

Rulang : I stay within 1 km from Rulang
Nan Hua : I am ex-student of Nan Hua

I am a working mum but most of the time work from home, but if I have meeting that I need to attend and go back to office, I will send my kids to my kids to clementi (my mum hse) ie walking distance to Nan Hua.
With that, will U apply for Rulang Pri or Nan Hua Pri?

I would choose Nan Hua as it was a 99% comfirm a place for my child.

Even though some schools are moving to temporary holding locations, distance from home to school is calculated based on original premise and not at temporary premises.

Several schools are going to move to temp locations within these few years. Daughter's school will be going to another place 200m away (whew !!) in 2013.

qifa is one of the upgrading, not sure if they are moving....

SV will also be going through upgrading but within the premises… it will surely create alot of noise pollution and disrupt the class…


Now, they are looking at whether any possibility to move to a temp location…

I see. So if one happens to stay within 1km of the temporary site, one won't be eligible for the \"within 1Km\" registration (even though temp site will be used for 2-3 years ie roughly half the child's lifetime in the school)? Is my understanding correct? Thanks in advance.
