Due to pregnancy???
If so, I lift my legs up (eg. put a stool/ A4 paper box under the table when in office) and rest on bed. It helped to reduce the water redundancy on my legs.
But outside pregnancy, I realised that I am quite prone to water retention as well. This is visible on my face. -
A slice of papaya a day, keeps the water away

An overseas friend had water retention after going through chemo, and her doctor advised her to take papaya. No harm, since it fruit anyway, and it did reduce her water retention. -

not due to preggie. dunoe why i have water retention
so wish by sun tanning it can \"dry up\" the water :rotflmao: :stupid:
Not sure if that is a good idea as you would probably have pigmentation which is a costlier problem
I am on hypertension medication and in my case, this medication will help to reduce water retention in my body. So I got rid it that way.
Of course, I am not asking you to try that. -
Some common advise, drink enough water, exercise, cut back on salt.
Another advise, eat fruits that are high in potassium, like banana, berries and watermelon.
Natural diuretics, like cranberry juice or even caffeine. But be careful not to over do it as the reverse might happen. Too much diuretics will dehydrate the body resulting in the body retaining water to rehydrate.
Or lymphatic drainage massage. Actually, I think any massage will help get rid of some level of water retention and feels darn good too.

You can try doing a 1 day or 3 days detox program. Exercise also helps, in fact, very much.

alamak, no need to sweat a lot to lose water lah. Exercise improves circulation. Once circulation improves, your body's drainage system will improve also.
