NUS High School of Mathematics and Science (Diploma)

Hi parents,
I've just found out on NUS High's website that there will be Open House on 17/4. Please see the link below.
http://www.highsch.nus.edu.sg/viewContent.php?tag=admissions
However, when I click the \"admissions\", the date is still 9/4. Since we missed last week's Open House, we'd love to visit the school if it's not typo. Being on weekend, there is no way to verify it with the school. Does anybody know if the Open House is held tomorrow?
Your help on this matter is greatly appreciated! -

Hi, for those that familiar with NUS high. My gal is in P5 this year. If she want to try for DSA next year, MUST BE A* for science and math in P5 results correct? Or it only depends on the actual DSA test taken?
Thanks -
Hi
My neighbourโs son got plentium in SMOPS in 2011. His mother ask me if his son can secure a place in Hwa Chong through DSA phrase 1. I heard from some kiasu parents saying that this group of plentium holders will be offered an invitation from Hwa Chong and NUSH to join the camp. Is it true? I am quite curious to know if it is real? Thanks. -

If your DD/DS passed the rigorous Math/Science/English testing and get selected for the DSA Camp, you will have to submit relevant P5/P6 results and documentations. The final selection is based upon the overall DSA Camp performance and obviously any good overall academic results in P5 and P6 mid-year especially in Maths and Science help a lot.Hi, for those that familiar with NUS high. I can't speak for HCI but I do know that NUSH required all potential students to take the DSA testing in Math/Science/English. I do know of one or 2 medalists not making it through round 1 of the testing.Hi

I recall that those with Platinum didnโt have to pay the fees for the camp.

hi jtoh,
You are refering to the camp organise by HCI? And when will they hold this camp?

The one after the Math/Science test.[/quote]oh..NMOS which is organised by NUSH doesn't have 'Platinum' the highest award is 'Gold'..Top 30 or more rankings of NMOS will be invited for their DSA but still need to pay the usual fees. But the fees will be refunded to these students provided they pass the first DSA test and there after they go for the camp....They still need to go through the same test and camp before being offered a place in NUSH..vlim:
