      Need help on this qn. Thanks.

      The volume of water in bottle P was 3/5 of that in bottle Q. After 60ml of water was added to bottle P and 20ml was poured away from bottle Q, the amt of water in bottle P was 3/4 that in bottle Q.
      What was the amt in each bottle at first?
      Old ratio P : Q = 3 : 5
      P [--][--][--] (= 3*[--])

      Q [--][--][--][--][--] (=5*[--])

      After 60ml of water was added to bottle P and 20ml was poured away from bottle Q
      P [--][--][--] + [---60---]

      Q [--][--][--][--][--] - [-20-]

      New ratio P : Q = 3 : 4
      P [--][-20-][--][-20-][--][-20-]

      Q [--][-20-][--][-20-][--][-20-][--][-20-]

      Compare the models of Q ,

      [--][--][--][--][--] - [-20-] -----> [--][-20-][--][-20-][--][-20-][--][-20-]

      [--] -----> 100

      3*[--] -----> 300

      5*[--] -----> 500

      the amount of water in P at first = 300 ml (Ans)

      the amount of water in Q at first = 500 ml (Ans)

              Harry and 5 friends share a cake equally for tea. If Harry gave away 2/3 of her share, what fraction of the cake had she left?
              Ans: 1/18
              Take the cake and divide into 6 parts.
              So Harry gets 1/6 of the cake. Since she gave away 2/3 of her share, she has 1/3 * 1/6 = 1/18 of the cake left.

                        We know 2 sq is 2x 2 and 2 cube is 2x2x2 but what’s the answer for 2 to the power of 50?
