        Kissgurami:
when did you submit PV for NYPS?

ya... will call them if exceed 2 weeks... i think I will be too afraid to call 😢
When it comes to kids' education, have to be thick-skin.
A HongKonger friend of mine told me that Singaporeans literally take NO for an answer, but that should not be the case...persist and call up until you get answer or at least until school admin remembers to do so.

True, the fear of rejection gets to me 😞

But like you said, will have to be thick skinned

            persist and keep calling? :?

what if the admin decided not worth risking having a parent that may persist and keep calling over anything in the next 6 years?

LOL! Definitely won't be doing a Longsville episode :!: , surely it would be alright if a courtesy call is made after 2 weeks to check on the status.

What I meant to say is call again after some time, not everyday lah.

After all, school admin clerk doesn’t know what you look like over the phone.

think it is read out of context. I was afraid to call for the fear of rejection and definitely a simple call to check the status would ease the waiting.

Think the recep hang up on me if I persist and harrass them 👅

Glad to see how pro-active the mommies are! After the PV interview, what is the protocol? RGPS was very nice about it. They said the school will inform you in a month’s time regarding their decision. I wonder if I should just sit and wait or do something during this time?

                      Hi Onionchief,

May I know when did you apply as a PV at RGPS? And how long before they asked you for the interview?

I went to the school last week and the admin lady told me that the recruitment for children born in 2007 has not opened. When I probed further about an exact date, she asked me to keep follow up on the school’s website.

Just want to understand if you went through the same situation mine. Thank for your advice.

I believe the reason is your daughter is in the 2007 batch. They are currently interviewing for 06 batch. Deadline for 06 batch was March 2011 but I know parents who have applied in December 2010. You can probably check their website every couple of months?[/b]
