      Happy Mama:
      Augmum, maybe bake chocolate chip cake, or marble cake? I've always loved marble cakes... just so delicious! but don't know how to bake it to get the swirl... must try one day. :love:

      thks happy mama for yr suggestions.
      a few days ago, i juz baked chocolate cookies, (haha so co-incidence with yr thinking)
      chocolate stuff very heaty,
      gal juz complain of her throat not feeling well,
      maybe after eating too much of my chocolate cookies.

        Your DD likes carrot cake or not? I have a recipe that's q.easy and tastes gd... :love:

          i tried it b4, is quite easy to get the swirl...
          juz pour the chocolate mixture in (or coca mixture), and do a quick stir in the direction u want.

              hahaha, carrot cake......u mean the \"REAL\" carrot cake,not the dimsum one , right ??

              u know something,....
              they juz baked Carrot cake, (yes, orange carrot cake) in school,
              and she brought back for me to taste....Yummy Yummy ....

                Really? Ok, I must try one of these days. Oh no, there are so many things I'm supposed to try baking or making, but just so little time.

                I wonder why I have been so busy these few months. This is crazy! :stupid:

                      Normally for marble cake, the \"chocolaty\" portion I'll randomly put on top of the butter cake. I'll then use a chopstick to swirl the mixture around...that's the top portion...The \"in between part\" I also do the same thing - but I don't do the swirling for this portion.

                        Hi QuiteKSMum, thanks. but can I clarify... You mean you put 2 layers of choc? The middle layer, you just \"dumped\" the choc there and cover it with the butter cake, and then put the choc on top and this time, you swirl it?
