Normally for marble cake, the \"chocolaty\" portion I'll randomly put on top of the butter cake. I'll then use a chopstick to swirl the mixture around...that's the top portion...The \"in between part\" I also do the same thing - but I don't do the swirling for this portion.

Hi QuiteKSMum, thanks. but can I clarify... You mean you put 2 layers of choc? The middle layer, you just \"dumped\" the choc there and cover it with the butter cake, and then put the choc on top and this time, you swirl it?

Ya, the ang-moh carrot cake, not the dim sum one ( this type I made b4 - epic fail (quoting my son way of speaking - epic xxx).

Orange carrot cake I never eat b4 - thou I just had Cedele Orange Cheesecake ytd ( too sour for my liking).

Making the carrot cake is easy but I dread the shredding carrot part...hand v.tired...

No lah, I'm not so pro to bake that yet. I bought from Cedele... Their carrot walnut cake is very good. I have never liked the \"ang moh\" carrot cake, but theirs..... :drool: :drool:

My preggie friend's baby popped into this world shortly after eating his mummy ate the carrot walnut cake... guess baby wanted to eat it before coming into this world... cute! :love:

i also never like the ang mo carrot cake...
at first when my galsaid that she would be baking carrot cake in school,
i thot she was referring to the local carrot cake.
