any idea if ATS will be shiftg back to their present premises at Bright Hill after their temporary shift to the ITE AMK campus? wld the intake remain the same as now? Tks

Hi, dear all ATS parents,

My husband and I have been looking for a flat at Bishan area, and we loved one flat but the distance is between 1km to 2km to ATS. Can someone help advise if it’s possible to become parent volumteer in that case? Must I stay within 1km to become PV for ATS?

Hi my girl will be in P1 next yr too. Am ex-ATS, but also joined e alumni like many other parents...but staying in Sengkang so kinda worried about e long bus ride. Any other parent who stays in same area who can give some advice (how long is e school bus ride) or regarding carpooling?

I know a lady who stays in Sengkang, is currently ferrying the students (stays in SK, YCK) to Ai Tong daily. Let me know if you are interested. I'll PM her contact.

Can I chk if that will get me into phase 2B or do I nd to get referral letter from SHHK in order to apply under phase 2B?

You have to apply to SHHK (there is a form to fill) for the recommendation letter. Last year, I think the application window started in April (?). Please check with them to see if you can catch the boat. Proof of membership is no use - SHHK has to issue you the letter before you qualify under Phase 2B.

I heard that for one of the years (this probably 3 year ago), min criteria was membership of more than 4 years - else the member won't get the letter.

SHHK will only know AFTER phase 2A2 who are the successful applicants, so no point checking early. They MAY send you the letter; or they MAY send a list to the school - then you just inform the registration counter staff that you have the letter.

Do u mean altho I apply for the letter, no guarantee i’ll get it? I can only find out if I got the letter after phase 2A?

SHHK will only know how many spaces left after 2A2 - from there, they will determine how many letters they can give mah.

PV, clan members AND grassroots all fall under Phase2B. All have equal standing. ONly advantage is that once you complete the said hours, you know you are entitled the letter. But then, there is no guarantee you can complete those hours (must have enough activities).
