jst want to check. currently my maid has to sweep and mop floor on daily basis for living/rooms and also i want her to scrub the kitchen floor(cooking daily and i hate when it's oily and my baby walk on it).. how abt u gals ? wipe windows/fan once a week/bi-weekly.. toilet daily too.

wipe kitchen cabinet, clean fridge, wash shoes racks outside the house- once a week.. sometimes i know she skip .. so long not too obvious i dun care..
I gave my maid a schedule of what needs to be done on a daily, weekly, monthly basis. But after being with me for 4 years, I do not think she follows my schedule anymore. The basic sweeping and mopping, toilet cleaning are done daily. Other than that, she will auto do when she is free or when I tell her it's dirty.

I told her the most impt is to take care of my kids well, I can close one eye on hsework. But I am very strict with hygiene level and she will kana lecture from me if is not up to my standard.

Wah piang, win big time loh. Hang in there, All is not lost! maybe she's just trying to see how far she can stretch you. Try to sweet talk her to stay if she's not too bad in her job? like ' if i send you back now, i get free replacement from agency but you would have worked for nothing for the past 5mths + leh... šŸ˜‰

Mine too! didn't complete contract in last stint but i still hire her šŸ™ ... so far, i try 'siam' her coz she eager to chat. I try to treat her fairly like how my boss would treat me. Good but not too personal. I still have to earn my keep.

Frankly dun open eye wide wide....just \"mi mi yan\" still pass. So would rather not change...also, hard to find maid who wants to take care FIL.
Actually, like you, mine also tried to chat to me....too often. So much so that I have to \"siam\" her like \"siam\" MIL, close my door and hide in room. Initially, I can still stay home....now, I also try to go out more. I a bit chatty myself, once I start I also become personal, so best is :siam:

I'll just take a step at a time, 见ꋛꋆꋛ怂 How come stay home also so xiong leh :|:

Give me five man! :hi5: our situation quite similar

I dread my maternity leave period where I would be 'stuck' with her 😢 and baby for 3mths after confinement period. I think its good to draw a line between employer and employee as ours are still so new and not yet 'proven' themselves.

sweep, mop and toilet clean daily... fan - weekly.. windows once a month.. clothes washing ironing daily... rest of the cleaning as and when get time or when i see dirty
iron daily ? i get maid to iron twice weekly.. iron daily use up more electricity lor... cos i see my maid when iron, 5 pieces also 2 hours..10 pieces also 2 hours..

so i guess mop/sweep daily is fair. cos i ever have one maid (with me 1 week nia, then send her back) she said \"huh, everyday mop and sweep ?\"

What time does your maid sleep? Does she usually have 8 hours of rest?

My maid usually sleeps around 11pm+ after she is done with all her chores and she will get up at around 6am+.

wow, your kids sleep early. Only my youngest one sleeps at 9pm. The older 2 sleep around 10pm. After my maid pat the youngest one to sleep, she will complete the rest of the hsework like sweeping and mopping and some washing then she will be off to bed.

she said \"I never put in the trolley. Don't know.\" Like real, some kind soul dropped it into her trolley and she didn't notice when she was paying that there were cookies and chocolates in there? If they want to eat, just admit it lah. Or pay for it with their own money on a separate recipt so no need to ansswer to the employer.

wah like that also can. she must be thinking we are as dumb as her ?

My This Maid Did the Same.
Reprimanded Her and Now She Careful About this ....
Since She Know Mam Look At Receipt ....
