Teared when i read the article. The mom must have been really desperate to do something so cruel. But really happy that the baby is found alive.

Singapore should have a baby-drop system at the hospitals so that desperate mothers can give away the babies instead of dumping them at rubbish chute or staircase. It is a win-win situation, the mothers won’t be charged for abandoning the babies, the babies won’t die, some childless couples can adopt the babies.
I believe Germany and Malaysia already have this system. -
This is disheartening. But luckily the baby survived.
