Wow KSI, the Hello Kitty looks so lovely! First my DD was saying Maid's kids are lucky and now after seeing the Hello Kitty, she's telling me how come I cannot make such cute stuff for her!

How do you do that? Is it some pancake or waffle? Can share how you did it? :please:

You beat me to it. Was about to ask her the same question. The Hello Kitty looks more like pancake or waffle material to me rather than bread, maybe she posted in the wrong thread? :?

I lost my post...dunno what key I hit earlier...

Anyway, I posted this because I could not make bread...too late and no bread flour. So I found plain flour in my kitchen and whipped this out.

Happy mama, the mold was from sanrio and you can see it here: http://www.flickr.com/photos/wendybonita/1811213270/in/photostream/

I modify the way to use it.

I used a basic pancake recipe as follows and change to the portion I want:
Ingredients:

2 cups all-purpose flour, stirred or sifted before measuring
2 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
3 tablespoons granulated sugar
1/2 teaspoon salt
2 large eggs
1 1/2 to 1 3/4 cups milk

Preparation:
Sift together flour, baking powder, sugar, and salt. In a separate bowl, whisk together the eggs and 1 1/2 cups of milk; add to flour mixture, stirring only until smooth. If the batter seems too thick to pour, add a little more milk. Cook on a hot, greased griddle, using about 1/4 cup of batter for each pancake. Cook until bubbly, a little dry around the edges, and lightly browned on the bottom; turn and brown the other side. Recipe for pancakes serves 4
