Wow KSI, the Hello Kitty looks so lovely! First my DD was saying Maid's kids are lucky and now after seeing the Hello Kitty, she's telling me how come I cannot make such cute stuff for her!


How do you do that? Is it some pancake or waffle? Can share how you did it? :please:

You beat me to it. Was about to ask her the same question. :idea: The Hello Kitty looks more like pancake or waffle material to me rather than bread, maybe she posted in the wrong thread? :?

I lost my post...dunno what key I hit earlier...

Anyway, I posted this because I could not make bread...too late and no bread flour. So I found plain flour in my kitchen and whipped this out.

I modify the way to use it.

I used a basic pancake recipe as follows and change to the portion I want:
Ingredients:

2 cups all-purpose flour, stirred or sifted before measuring
2 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
3 tablespoons granulated sugar
1/2 teaspoon salt
2 large eggs
1 1/2 to 1 3/4 cups milk


Preparation:
Sift together flour, baking powder, sugar, and salt. In a separate bowl, whisk together the eggs and 1 1/2 cups of milk; add to flour mixture, stirring only until smooth. If the batter seems too thick to pour, add a little more milk. Cook on a hot, greased griddle, using about 1/4 cup of batter for each pancake. Cook until bubbly, a little dry around the edges, and lightly browned on the bottom; turn and brown the other side. Recipe for pancakes serves 4
