My son used to use the singtel prepaid card. Can top up online, pay $8 and get $10 value.

Finally, one respond! Thank you so much! πŸ’‹

Btw, any free local incoming call and sms for this card? Is the card available at any stores? TIA.

Hi , if your mobile line is singtel and if u dun use much , u can consider the the REDPAC for your DS , this line free incoming , outgoing call share with your plan , sms is 500 + 150 per month. Subscription is $8 + $5 (caller id).

        Thanks for all the replies.

I understand that we have to top up just before the expiry day, say, before the month or the 6th month is up so as to be able to continue using the same number of that card? Then this could be a problem to me because this is just a spare card or a card for alternative purposes, hence I may not even get to use it for more than 3 times per month kind, so for my case, would it be a waste because i. I may not have the chance almost fully utilize the amount in the card and ii. Before I even have the chance to use half of the amount, I will need to top up in order to use the card again.

Any good suggestions or any particular card that is suitable? Thank you.

We have similiar usage pattern! πŸ˜„
Used to hv a Singtel Hi card but v wasteful, expired w/o even using more than $1 for calls.
Even if I had remembered the expiry date, I also won't bother to top up, as don't 1 2 throw good $ after the bad. πŸ˜›

But it is still cheaper than the monthly subscription of signing up for a M1 shared line ($7+, after 35% discount w/o caller ID). So I might still get another 1 & treat the unused amt as an expense, if the need gets more persistent.

I am looking for an online site to purchase prepaid phone cards that can call to japan and jordan from US,UK,Canada at a reasonable rate. I am also wondering if there is any difference between the different phone cards and calling cards in terms of quality or are they just all the same. Any information on this would be helpful!

I’ve always been using the Singtel hi! card. Its very reliable and the top-up bonuses are nice as well!
