Wow thanks for all the suggestions!
I don’t mind attending a longer session (e.g. 3-4 hours or more) as I prefer something hands on. No point just sitting there to watch, then bring home a recipe. It’s as good as learning from books, TV or internet!
Will check Phoon Huat too. The cc near my place has some baking classes but they’re not the type I’m looking for. My friend and I are keen to learn baking but more importantly, decorating. I’ve made cupcakes and they’re very tasty but I’m bad at decorating them. Just simple icing and I can’t seem to spread it properly. Always looks messy! Not like those pretty ones sold online or at shops. -

Shermay's cooking school at Chip Bee Gardens is well known. The EZ cooking at Great World and another at United Square is popular too, however no first hand experience so can't comment further
Thanks! Will check out the Chip Bee Gardens and Great World ones. -
Saw this Brillionaire Kids Chefs Workshop @ Nexx Shopping Mall. Anyone try it?
TIA.

I guess that depends on people too…
Some people after 2 hours of doing hands-on become so blur…No more idea why need to do this and that. Just follow the instructor. After got home, forgot how to do the cake. Some people after 2 hours of demo class also become so bored, and just think to go home early to see Channel 5 or Channel 8 drama…
So, I think must try yourself which one that works for you la -
buy cookbooks from popular then trial and error will work as well. if we borrow from the library most likely the content will be more westernized and Singapore might not have the ingredients required, so yea. hahas.
