I think there won't be many register for SQ in Ph 2B. So I think plenty left for Ph 2C. But not to be optimistic for Ph 2C Sup. -
Hi, I’m new to this forum and I seriously need HELP. We did the PV for rulang, however, when we registered for Ph2B, we were told that we are more than 2km hence no chance since they have abt 90% registration for Ph2B and today is the 1st day! We were asked to consider to withdraw the application, nonetheless, we still apply though we know our chance is DAMN slim.
For back up, we have to apply for school within 1km, hence either westgrove or pioneer pri. We heard from our neighbour that westgrove’s standard has dropped though the application is still overwhelming. When I checked the website, westgrove has more vacancies than rulang this year for ph2C (52 for rulang vs84 for westgrove)…as for pioneer, not a choice as my spouse dun really like the school…anyone can guide us if we should go for Ph2c for westgrove? Thks -

Now I understand why Rulang didn't have balloting in the past 3 years for Phase 2B - the registration staff is quite diligent in acting as the first line of defenceHi, I'm new to this forum and I seriously need HELP. Well, they did cut 1 class of 30 students from Rulang's 2010 nominal role, so that explains the 90% APP so far for Phase 2B, which is indeed high. If you have no other Phase 2B prioritization, then you did the right thing by just keeping your registration in Rulang just in case Lady Luck shines.
In retrospect, it's too bad you did not do PV for West Grove instead, since you are 1km away and should be a shoo-in for Phase 2B in West Grove. In any case, West Grove in Phase 2C will definitely require balloting for those under 1km, with at best a 50% chance of getting in (2 for 1). It could get as bad as 3.5 for 1. -
Hi! Does anyone know which school in Jurong West extention area has teachers who are most caring? My child is mildly autistic and I am thinking of enroling him in such a school. I heard Juying PS is good but do they provide transport?

rulang...........58 only left for 2C until today, me in 1 km but still scared of balloting in 2C :?:

Hi,
I stay in taman jurong and so it seems that only Lakside Pri is within 1km of my house. The rest of the schools apart from boon lay and corporation seem to be rather competitive. Makes me want to take the easy way out because it seems that even when we pv or we move within 1km, we may not get the school of our choice.
May i know how is Lakeside Pri? Is it really that bad or is there anything good about that school? -
hahha...........rulang ballotting in 2B !!!!!!!!!! even no use of PV it seems.......... 54 registered for 52 seats. :?
-
haha.i am also one of those taking risks to apply for rulang pri school.I know balloting is confirmed.unless this year very lucky.keke
Can only pray hard hard can get in ba. -
Balloting indeed for Ph2B....my fear has come true
When we 1st applied for PV, there were over 100applications and only 40+ were shortlisted as the school said that they did not want to waste other parents' time. Well, this time round, still miscalculate cos 54 vying for 52 ...sigh.....
Well keep my fingers crossed and hope we get a place...
