This was brought up in this year's PTC, i seems like the school is not ready for single session as there is not enough classroom/ assembly area etc to have all the students in the same session.

Since Government want to have all primary school to convert to single session by 2016. Anyone know the school plan? moving to new location.........

RSS is a govt-aided school, so it's given some flexibility. Personally, i like the current arrangement better, P1-P2 in PM session, P3-P6 in AM session for the xiao didi / meimei to have 2 years to adjust to pri school life instead of having them together with the older bros/ sis. The school even give the P2 students some leadership role in taking care of P1 students.

Hi, my wife just got a call today from RSS to inform us to meet up with the principal next Wednesday for meeting about PV. i presumed that the chance is there and hopefully we will be selected as PV in RSS. i am wondering has anyone received the call like us and wanted to ask what should we prepare?

Yes, there is school bus serving Katong. For the am session, they will pick up @ 6.05am and reach the school by 7am. If you self-drive, it takes less than 20 mins to reach school, even with morning traffic.

My boy is in RSS p2 this year.
You also old gal? My Hb is old boy.
Now my boy is taking Sch bus to sch. Hb fetches him home in the evening.
His sch bus no 9 is also the bus picking up kids from pgl.
