saw this on taiwan news just a moment ago, a group of people celebrated mother's day by washing their mum's feet in the park. some of the participants were as young as 4 years old. so sweet.

      an early \"Happy Mother's Day\" to all.

Oh no! Looks like the election has overshadowed Mother’s Day! I almost forgot tomorrow is Mother’s Day (8 May 2011).

For all mothers in the world, you’re the best.
For those who don’t know this is so, you are not from this world.

        Happy Mother’s Day!!!

In a person’s life, the place that a mother holds can never ever be taken over by anyone else. HAPPY MOTHER’S DAY to all the KSP mummies out there.

If I had my child to raise over again,

I'd finger paint more, and point the finger less.
I'd do less correcting, and more connecting.
I'd take my eyes off my watch, and watch with my eyes.
I would care to know less, and know to care more.
I'd take more hikes and fly more kites.
I'd stop playing serious, and seriously play.
I'd run through more fields, and gaze at more stars.
I'd do more hugging, and less tugging.
I would be firm less often, and affirm much more.
I'd build self-esteem first, and the house later.
I'd teach less about the love of power,
And more about the power of love.

                A Child Learns

If a child lives with criticism,
                he learns to condemn.

If a child lives with hostility,
                he learns to fight.

If a child lives with ridicule,
                he learns to be shy.

If a child lives with shame,
                he learns to feel guilty.

If a child lives with tolerance,
                he learns to be patient.

If a child lives with encouragement,
                he learns confidence.

If a child lives with praise,
                he learns to appreciate.

If a child lives with fairness,
                he learns justice.

If a child lives with security,
                he learns to have faith.

If a child lives with approval,
                he learns to like himself.

If a child lives with acceptance, and friendship,
he learns to find love in the world.

\" The moment a child is born, the mother is also born. She never existed before. The woman existed, but the mother, never. A mother is something absolutely new. \"

HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY TO ALL OUR MUMMIES & MUMMIES TO BE HERE, EVEN FOR OUR DADDIES WHO PLAYED BOTH ROLES.
